Do you have a business online? Or have clients who need a digital marketing service of yours. Either way, you need to keep learning in order to keep up with the pace of recent times.
I’ve created this space to give you that learning experience.
The key to having that learning mindset is being open to changes that come from observation. Observing people who have that mindset, their daily activities and their behavior in a situation where anyone can break.
This space isn’t for self-promotion, even for me. I’m a digital marketing consultant and I have a ton of content that can be shared, but I’ll be sharing my own posts weekly once and other’s work on a daily basis.
I’ve read enough content to figure out if the post is self-promotion or a genuine contribution to this community.
Submission guidelines
- All submissions strictly need to be on one theme. Core Digital Marketing.
- Describe what you’ve understood from the post you’re contributing to. I want to share experience, not just some piece of text. I want the content to be relatable with the members of this community.
- This is a vast category, so you can submit anything that directly relates to Digital Marketing. It can be a list of books, a book review, a testimonial (or case study) or specific tactics or any aspect of digital marketing that helps our fellow members to be better at marketing online. Anything that’s directly pointing in this direction will be entertained.
- Submitting your own work is cool, but if you pour into Space with just your own content, your work is going to be ignored. Remember, the submission will be manually monitored.
- I’m not a grammar nazi but I’d humbly request to write that makes sense. This is a serious business, mistakes will be nurtured but misleading write-ups won’t be entertained. Do a spell check, use Grammarly if you don’t feel confident.
- Sharing other’s work that left an impact has the highest chances of being accepted. Let’s grow together and give credit & exposure to all those who deserve it.
- In case I don’t accept your submissions, I won’t always message and inform the reason. However, you can assume and investigate the reason for yourself. The most common reason will be self-promotion and poor quality content.
What am I looking for?
- Elementary/Basics & How-To’s: Have a clear understanding of the basics that you think many people can benefit from? I need you, join hands to empower the world.
- Case studies: Do you have some experience none other than you can have? Or you have something analyzed so well that people call you encyclopedia? I love data, numbers never lie.
- Scripts & Templates: Have a template that worked like a charm for you? Or have a template that can help beginners create a blog post effectively? Good, because I need step-by-step instructions.
- Emerging opportunities: Desperately feel about some opportunity or trend? It can be happening for years from now. You can shed some light on that & inspire many for that opportunity.
- Campaign ideas: Marketing is a series of campaigns & you must have creative ways to run campaigns. Share to this community, it will benefit all of us.
- Tools. A good worker is as good as his tools, educating everyone about various tools will do the greater good for everyone in this community.
- High-level strategies. How to get traffic to a newly created blog? How to grow followers on Instagram organically? Strategies will do the needful.
To do before submitting:
- Have a medium profile ready, short bio, relevant links & be descriptive.
- At The Subtle Marketing, the article is an art. Except for your name, I’d not withstand personal promotions & CTAs such as “buy this product”, “Signup for newsletter” or “follow me on twitter etc”. Your profile has all these things already, let the reader come to your profile and find them.
- Emojis & GIFs are cool but keep the minimum.
- Add a cover image from sources like Unsplash, Pixabay, or Pexels. Don’t forget to cite the photographer.
- You’re welcome to add a Resource section at the end of the post, to link to studies to further reading.
